“I want to buy land.”
“I want to build a house.”
“I want to expand my business.”
“I want to pay my children's education expenses without borrowing.”
These are good goals.
But a goal becomes much more powerful when you attach numbers, time and action to it.
Suppose your goal is ₦600,000.
Instead of saying:
“I will save for it.”
Ask:
When do I want to achieve it?
How much must I save each month?
How much must I save each week?
Now the dream has become a plan.
This is why many people don't fail because their dreams are too big.
They fail because the dream remains in their head instead of becoming a financial routine.
TRY THIS TODAY
Take one goal that matters to you.
Write:
My goal: __________
Amount needed: __________
Target date: __________
Amount I can save regularly: __________
Then start.
You don't need to have the entire amount today.
You need to know what you must consistently do between today and your target date.
A dream tells you where you want to go.
A savings plan tells you how to start moving.
