More Sales Do Not Always Mean More Wealth

A business can have customers every day and still struggle financially.

Why?

Because sales are not the same as profit.

And profit is not automatically the same as wealth.

If you sell ₦200,000 worth of goods but spend most of it replacing stock, paying expenses and covering personal needs, you cannot simply look at ₦200,000 and say:

“I made ₦200,000.”

You need to understand what the business actually produced.

This is why records matter.

You need to know:

What came in?

What went out?

What belongs to the business?

What can I safely take?

What can I save or reinvest?

YOUR ACTION

For one week, record every major business inflow and expense.

Don't rely on memory.

Let the numbers tell you the truth.

Busy is not the same as profitable.

And profitable is not automatically the same as wealthy.

Understanding the difference is a major step toward building a stronger business.
