Helping family is important.
But there is a difficult question many people avoid:
How do I help others without destroying my own financial stability?
Sometimes, one person's emergency becomes another person's long-term financial crisis.
Someone breaks into their savings.
They spend business capital.
They abandon an important goal.
They borrow money they cannot comfortably repay.
Then another emergency comes.
The cycle continues.
Helping people is valuable.
But you also need boundaries around the money you are building for your future.
Emergency savings can help.
Planning can help.
Knowing what you can genuinely afford to give can help.
And sometimes, saying:
“I cannot afford to do that right now.”
is not selfish.
It is responsible.
THINK ABOUT THIS
You cannot permanently become the emergency fund for everyone around you.
Build your own financial foundation too.
A stronger financial position gives you a better ability to help others without destroying yourself.
